Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

As a UK consumer buying online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving a reason. To meet the cancellation deadline, you only need to send your cancellation notice before the 14-day period expires.

After cancelling, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

How to Cancel or Return an Item

Contact us at [pixeltradegb@gmail.com] with your order number to begin a return. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

Condition of Returned Items

You should handle the item only as you would in a shop — to examine it, not to use it. If the item shows signs of use beyond inspection (for example, a sealed collectible that has been opened and is no longer in its original sealed condition, or wear inconsistent with simple inspection), we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect the reduction in value. This is not a blanket “no returns once opened” policy — it reflects what UK law permits us to deduct, assessed case by case.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods (e.g. sealed trading card boxes, sealed media) that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for health/hygiene or similar reasons, where applicable
  • Personalised or made-to-order items
  • Items where you have explicitly acknowledged loss of the cancellation right at the point of purchase (e.g. for digital content)

[Note: review with a professional which of your specific product types genuinely qualify for these exceptions — most physical collectibles like sealed Funkos, games, or Blu-rays do not automatically lose the 14-day right just because they’re “collectible”; the exceptions are narrower than many sellers assume.]

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 14 days. Original standard delivery costs are refundable; return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described.

Faulty or Misdescribed Items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, regardless of the 14-day cancellation window. Contact us at [pixeltradegb@gmail.com ] with photos of the issue as soon as possible.
